As we predicted, Audley Harrison was knocked out of Strictly last week, but who will follow him and who which couples will excel as the competitors head to Wembley?

In the show last week Chelsee Healey bagged her first 10 of the series, but was pipped to the top of the leaderboard by Harry Judd, who got a brace of 10s and 37 in total. Robbie Savage – more used to less subtle moves on the football pitch – continued his improvement with partner Ola as they were given their highest score to date.

Anita Dobson and Robin ended as one of the bottom two couples last week, despite finishing fifth out of nine on the leaderboard. The ex-Eastender could have lost favour with the public, and looks a fair bet for the next elimination at 5/4 (Betfred – £50 free betting). Alex Jones also looks in a precarious position and is the second favourite with the bookies to get the boot at best odds of 10/3 (Stan James).

In the overall winner market, Harry’s pair of maximums has cemented his position as favourite and he can be backed at 13/8 (Ladbrokes). Russell Grant’s popularity shows no sign of waning and at 25/1 (bet365 – £200 free betting) to win the famous Glitterball Trophy, this could be a great time to have a flutter on the astrologer. In times of woe, people love a laugh, and Russell has certainly brought plenty of those. It is not inconceivable that his humour and likeability will take him all the way.

In reality, however, we still think Chelsee Healey and partner Pasha have the sparkle and skill to take overall victory in the competition. Unlike some of the competitors, Chelsee looks equally bewitching whether dancing ballroom or Latin, and when the competitors start doing two dances this will give her a major advantage. She can still be backed at very good odds of 7/2 (bet365).
