Spaniard Fernando Alonso guided his Ferrari team to season’s first one-two at Hockenhaim German Grand Prix since first race in Bahrain. The win came with a controversial tone to it as Felipe Massa received coded orders to allow Alonso past him.

Lewis Hamilton took fourth position which was enough to ensure him a lead in drivers standings. Neither McLaren team mate Jenson Button nor Hamilton seemed position to cause troubles for Ferrari duo. Red Bull’s Mark Webber was forced to contain with sixth position due to oil problems.
