The 2020 (2021) European Championships finally get underway this month and a total of 12 major cities will play host to a mammoth 51 matches, a grand total of 24 nations fighting it out to be named European champions. Portugal are the current holders of the coveted trophy and they will be going all-out to successfully defend their title, however they will be in for a very tough time as they do battle with the best footballing nations on the continent. Make sure that you keep up-to-date on the best betting odds by regularly visiting this page.

The home nations are represented by England, Scotland and Wales although of the three, the Three Lions are the only realistic challengers for the trophy, most bookies continuing to make them slight second-favourites behind 2016 finalists France in the market. Wales are a general 150/1 on the market while Scotland are as high as 250/1 to get their hands on the silverware.

After France and England, Belgium are next in the outright betting at general odds of around 6/1 at the time of writing while Germany are out at 8/1, due in no small part to their humiliating 6-0 thrashing at the hands of Spain in the Nations League in November. Spain and Portugal are also a general 8/1 punt to lift the trophy while Italy and the Netherlands come in next at 9/1 and 14/1 respectively. 1992 champions Denmark are next in the betting at a general 28/1 while beaten World Cup 2018 finalists Croatia complete the top ten at 33/1.
