With Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea still in the Carling Cup, there was always going to be a couple of mouth-watering quarter final ties and that was the case when the draw was made on Saturday.
The plum tie is probably Arsenal at home to Manchester City, with the Gunners currently bang in form after winning their last five matches including a 5-3 win at Chelsea which nobody saw coming.
The Gunners will now try to outscore a City side that are hammering in the goals in every match that they play at the moment.
Chelsea are up against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge, with Andre Villas-Boas clearly keen to win this piece of silverware with the west London club, while Manchester United will be delighted to have drawn Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
Finally, Blackburn will travel to Cardiff for a place in the semi-finals and both teams will fancy their chances in south Wales. Rovers managed a last-ditch win in injury-time against Newcastle in the last round.
